Location: Boston, MA
AwareX is a software startup with a global presence seeking a Junior Project Manager to take ownership of key projects and be a key technical advisor and subject matter expert to AwareX Sales Executives, customers, partners and prospects. We’re looking for a self-starter with demonstrated leadership skills, strong communication and a keen attention to detail who can help take our company to the next level.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical interactions for the company’s implementations: cultivate relationships with the customer, developers and other technical personnel
- Develop expert technical knowledge of the AwareX product
- Define appropriate customer business process workflows and document software scope & functionality
- Create and present tailored PowerPoint presentations to technical and business audiences from various levels of management for sales activities
- Write proposals for customer engagements
- Solicit and provide feedback from prospects and current customers to facilitate new features and functionality in our current software
- Create and manage schedules/milestones in various tools
- Maintain project-related documentation such as status reports, issues lists and meeting agendas/notes
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to customers – upwards of 30%
Requirements
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills and ability to speak to senior/technical level clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Strong analytical and technical aptitude and interest in technology
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
- Spanish fluency, a plus
- 2+ years’ experience in business analysis, pre-sales & project management (or like-minded roles)
