Technical Lead

Location: Boston, MA

AwareX is a software startup with a global presence seeking a Technical Lead to take ownership of multiple key projects and be a key technical advisor and subject matter expert to AwareX Sales Executives, customers, partners and prospects.  We’re looking for a self-starter with demonstrated technical experience, leadership skills, strong communication and a keen attention to detail who can help take our company to the next level.

Responsibilities

• Leverage development skills to own, design and develop key components of our product line
• Design and build robust APIs that act as the central piece of the architecture
• Mentor other engineers and lead by example, while being extremely hands-on
• Interface with other development teams, as well as business teams working with our customers
• Collaborate with customers remote and on site to develop API integration
• Constantly working on enhancement of product API
• Working with Automation testing team to develop a robust platform
• Job title of subordinates: Java Engineer

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field plus 3 years of experience
• 2 years of experience in building REST API/SOAP web services
• 2 years of experience in Product Development
• 3 years of experience with Network operator backend systems
• Domestic travel to client locations required as needed
• 40 hours/week
• Must also have authority to work permanently in the U.S.
